On the second day, return to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, with opportunities to explore this famed film-making location and savor the scenic beauty of the Tizi-N-Ticha pass.
Morning departure to the High Atlas across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages. You continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, which is the most famous of all Moroccan kasbahs, largely due to its appearance in many Hollywood blockbusters with turrets on all the buildings, adorned with grilled windows and soft peach-colored walls. It was one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road caravan routes, where traders brought slaves, gold, ivory, and salt from sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakesh and beyond. after that, have lunch at one of the restaurants at the foothills of the Kasbahs. Later on, continue to visit Ouarzazate, then we will drive again through the beautiful valleys to reach Agdez and appreciate the view of its palm grove from a high point. We continue our desert trip to the city of Zagora, where the camels await you at the end of the paved road, to take you to the bivouac in the dunes just in time to witness the majestic sunset and take memorable photos. Once you arrive at the bivouac of Zagora desert, you are welcomed by the staff, given your tents, and gather for a mint tea session to get to know each other and break the ice with other comers. The night in the desert camp has a clear sky and you can see countless stars and easily distinguish the constellations. After a nice homemade dinner, we gather around the fire to enjoy a session of singing, dancing, and laughing around the fire, share beautiful moments, and forget the world.
The second day of the Zagora desert trip starts with an early breakfast, so you don’t miss the awesome sunset Zagora has to offer, another opportunity to take beautiful pictures. Then Ride the camels back to meet the car at the end of the paved road. Leave Zagora behind and head straight back to Ouarzazate via the Draa Valley and Agdez, where you will have lunch, before exploring the town. It is well known as a backdrop for many cinematographic works, as Ouarzazate is a noted film-making location. In the afternoon, take the road back to Marrakesh.
