One of the longer excursions in Morocco, lasting 12 days and combining culture, nature, and adventure, departs from Casablanca. We oversee the excursion, departing from Morocco’s regal cities and traveling across the Atlas Mountains to reach the untamed Sahara desert. Over the last few days, we made a stop to explore Marrakech, Morocco’s most popular tourist destination, which boasts some spectacular sights. The trip also offers the chance to make some incredible discoveries in the Fes and Marrakech Medinas.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Rabat – Chefchaouen

We will begin the day by taking in the highlights of Rabat, the capital of our nation, which includes historical sites like the Oudaya Kasbah, Shella Kasbah, and Hassan Tower. Then, we depart Rabat and head toward Chefchaouen, a popular tourist destination in Morocco that is especially well-liked by Moroccans during the hot summer months due to its bright blue-rinsed houses. You will have ample time to explore Chefchaouen’s narrow alleys and winding lanes, which are home to many souks selling food and handcrafted goods. Sleeping over in Chefchaouen

Day 2 Chefchaouen – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

We depart Chefchaouen in the direction of the Volubilis (Walili) archaeological site, where we begin exploring the amazing Berber-Roman ruins decorated with exquisite mosaics and vibrant tiles that portray Roman mythology.
After that, the tour goes on to the imperial city of Meknes, which was constructed with 20 gates, over 50 palaces, and a 15-mile wall surrounding it. Sultan Moulay Ismail chose Meknes as his capital at the end of the 17th century. We explore some of the most notable sites in Meknes, including Bab Mansour Gate, Place Lhdim (Square of Ruins), and the well-known Haras de Meknes, which is home to the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Day 3 FES – Fes guided tour

You begin a day tour of Fez with a local guide, where you experience the old medina’s timeless atmosphere. Fes is an exquisitely preserved medieval city of souks and donkey-wide alleyways. The renowned palace gate, the mosaic factory, La Madrasa Attarine, the Najjarine Fountain, the mosques of El Qaraouine, Madrasa Bonania, and the tanneries are just a few of the city’s most well-known sights and crafts that you will see during your guided tour. If you would like, we can end the visit at any time and drop you off at your real Riad.

Day 4 FES – AZROU – MIDELT- MERZOUGA DUNES

At 8 a.m., our guide will come to pick you up in your Riad in Fes. We begin our journey through Ifrane, Azrou, cedar forests, and the Ziz valley gorge, across the Middle Atlas to the dunes of the Erg Chebbi. We pause in Midelt for lunch which has an interesting route with a beautiful landscape that offers great shuts with different sceneries for photographers.
We proceed to the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you will have the opportunity to ride a camel for two hours and witness the sun setting at a distance of 250 meters. After that, you will spend the night in an opulent desert camp, where dinner is prepared fresh and served beneath the stars. Joining the circle fire for some drum music after supper is always a good idea.

Day 6 Merzouga dunes – Todra Gorges – Dades valley

If we get up early enough, we can witness the amazing sunrise, when the dunes’ hues and the way the shadows move create a breathtaking scene. Our lunch destination is the Todra Gorges and Tinghir, which we depart from after breakfast.
Between Tinjdad and the Todra Valley, the road travels. Walking opportunities abound here; you can stroll up the road on the other side of the gorges or along the river through the gardens. We keep going until we spend the night in the Dades Valley. A hotel stay

Day 7 Dades valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

We begin our journey through the stunning valley of Dades, surrounded by fig trees and mountains, and head towards the gorges. We can take an hour-long walk to explore the valley before continuing to Ouarzazate, the famous film city, where we make a few stops to see the Taourirt Kasbah and the film studios. Afterward, the tour takes us to the World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which has served as the backdrop for numerous Hollywood blockbusters. It is one of Morocco’s most well-known Kasbahs. Day 8 Ait Ben Haddou – Taliouine – Taroudante

If you enjoy watching sunsets, you can enjoy a morning walk to the top of Ait Ben Haddou to witness one. After breakfast is served in your hotel, we will begin our drive. We drive to Taliouine, the well-known Saffron region, where we will stop for lunch. From there, the road continues to Taroudante, passing lovely farms and an Argan forest. The route winds along the stunning dry mountains of the anti-Atlas.

Day 9 Taroudant – Tizi N Test- Imlil

We travel in the morning to the well-known Tizi n Test, which at 2093 meters above sea level, offers some of the most breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains and winding roads. We keep traveling to Imlil town, which is near the edge of Toubkal Mountain. This is where most hikers begin their journey to reach North Africa’s highest peak, and it is also a fantastic chance to learn about Berber culture in these distinctive mountains. Day 11 Marrakech – Marrakech

With the assistance of your local guide, you tour Marrakech’s historical sites starting after breakfast. Those include the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Koutoubia Minaret, and Menara Gardens. We will explore Agdal Gardens, the new Gueliz neighborhood, the markets, the historic Jemaa El Fna Square, and the walls of the old Medina. Discover the well-known square, which is the size of a football field, and see it as it was 500 years ago with storytellers, magicians, acrobats, and vendors selling magical concoctions. Day 12 Transfer to the airport of Marrakech or Casablanca
